Yeah, pretty much. Except one evil isn’t trying to trample on women’s rights. Or cut public education to the point where it’s nonexistent. Or outlaw gay marriage. Or cut programs for the middle and lower class in order to save CEOs and millionaires a few extra dollars. Or slaughter the environment just to drill for a year’s worth of oil.
There’s a lot of things wrong with the political party system, anyone can see that and it needs a ton of reform, but when it comes down to it, you’re agreeing with a vast majority of what one party’s saying and agreeing with next to nothing with what the other one’s saying, so your choice is between those two, to get involved in making the socialist/libertarian/moderate/flying spaghetti monster parties relevant (which is completely possible if people tried to), or to not vote, which is just as much of a political statement as voting.
